If you thought GM's Duramax was a great engine before, wait until you see it after it receives the Banks Power treatment for the Sidewinder S-10 diesel dragster. So far the truck has run 7.723 e/t and 179.21 mph in the 1/4 mile!
On March 6th, 2010 the Banks crew tested out the rail's new "Stroker" 427 cu. in., twin-turbo 7.0L Duramax engine at the NHRDA Nationals in Wittmann, Arizona.
“Known as the master of turbochargers, Banks’ technology has contributed to the progression of power enhancement products for the past four decades.”
